Accounting Clerk/Administrative

 




ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

- Reconcilement of deposits and collections
- Verifies and posts details of business transactions, such as funds received and disbursed
- Prepares invoices, checks, statements and other records and reviews for accuracy
- Researches vendor statements for accuracy; follows up and makes necessary adjustments
- Completes daily filing
- Collect Receivables
- Post Payments
- Researches discrepancies and prepare adjustments when necessary
- Reviews delinquent accounts with Office Manager
- Performs other duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Minimum of one-year certificate from college or technical school or 1-2 years related experience or equivalent
- Commitment to excellence and high standards
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
- Proficient in Microsoft applications
- Familiarity with small business operations and computerized accounting system (QuickBooks)

The Accounting Clerk will report directly to the Office Manager and will work closely with other department managers on a daily basis. Compensation will be based on the background of the individual selected (between $13.00 to $16.00 per hour, depending on experience).
